Another Sunday, another victory in the Valencia region for FC Barcelona.
This was the third time in as many weeks that the Catalans headed four to five hours south to play a La Liga fixture. As seen against Elche and Valencia, however, in addition to Rayo Vallecano and Feyenoord at Camp Nou, there would be no manita raised on this occasion for having scored five goals.
Culers have perhaps got too used to blowing the opposition away, and there were grumbles across Barça Twitter for Hansi Flick's men not being as convincing as in their other five 100% success rate outings thus far in 2026/2027.
