Alaves Win for FC Barcelona Again Shows Off Power of La Masia Through Fariñas

In FC Barcelona's 6-1 win over Alaves, a La Masia talent once more stepped up to a tricky assignment unfazed in Brian Fariñas.

After two defeats in their two biggest games of the season against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid knocked a previously unbeaten outfit off its perch, FC Barcelona got back to winning ways on Saturday night with another "manita" at Deportivo Alaves' expense.

Five fingers and then some were raised at home on the traditional castanyada night after Barça thrashed their Basque visitors 6-1.

Beyond the doblete braces of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, however, La Masia and its unrelenting power were once again in the spotlight for reasons beyond the Ballon d'Or candidate.

Culers have had a lot to moan about as of late, amid the mentioned losses which took the shine off a unit widely recognised as Europe's best in-form team prior to the international break.
