FC Barcelona has once again placed cultural identity and social commitment at the heart of its institutional vision with the launch of the “Parla blaugrana, parla català” initiative.

Jointly developed by the club and the FC Barcelona Foundation, the campaign has a clear objective: to promote, spread and consolidate the everyday use of the Catalan language across every area of the Barça ecosystem.

Far from being conceived as a formal requirement or a mere rhetorical statement, the initiative views language as a cornerstone of social cohesion, a tool for active integration, and a warm welcome for everyone who joins the Barça community, whether they come through the academy or arrive from elsewhere in the world.
